Fratellini Story

Fratellini Story

Once upon a time, way back in the late 1800’s there was a famous Italian circus family called the Fratellini Family...

The Fratellini brothers Paul, Francois and Albert grew up watching their father fly through the trapeze, knowing that one day they would share the same spotlight. As the brothers became men, they launched their own unique triple Clown act. The act took them all though Europe, and they quickly became the darlings of the Parisian intellectuals. Lauded for their wit and charm, the Fratellini brothers were so successful that they sparked the resurgence of interest in the circus.

This cheerful Italian, in which every vertical surface has been utilised as a blackboard, noticeboard or menu board, has a simple, rustic menu including daily specials as well as a range of about a dozen pizzas

This casual atmosphere may help explain the happy-go-lucky attitude to the service. ... The waiters are lovely, and there are a couple I could easily take home with me. It's not filled with the Noosa equivalent of suits-in-a-hurry, and you can take time to read the wall posters, dip into the papers, and watch the passing parade - which is an lesson in socio-economic theory all on its own

A long-time favourite with locals and visitors alike, Fratellini will delight you with succulent dishes at great prices. A place where the locals drop in for a coffee and a chat, read the newspapers and exchange jokes ... an authentic Italian restaurant
